Tuesday, August 27, 2024
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency claimed it truly is alarmed regarding the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider issue designed for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of sassa status potential beneficiaries, that makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more methods to permit sassa status the servicing of all shoppers and boost use of Social Assistance products and more info services,” the agency said.
